Conceived as a speculative project for a builder, this residence in the Town of Southampton is designed to maximize floor area and bedroom count in support of the This 4,300-square-foot, five-bedroom residence sits on just over an acre and follows a T- shaped plan shaped by the lot geometry. A cantilevered upper section extends beyond the ground level footprint to form a covered outdoor patio, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Exterior finishes combine metal panels with cedar shingle siding. The cedar shingles are carefully aligned with the window frames, guiding the dimensions of the openings and the heights of the volumes to create a cohesive, disciplined exterior expression.
